Product Introduction

WNMG-P6 is an 80° hexagon negative-type carbide turning insert. The P6 geometry is specially designed for steel roughing, paired with three CVD composite coating grades: BP6315, BP6325 and BP6335. The 90° approach angle design effectively avoids machining interference, making it suitable for roughing of carbon steel, alloy steel and other steel materials. The special groove design provides high edge strength and excellent chip breaking, supports large depth-of-cut and high feed machining to achieve high metal removal rate, and is suitable for various interrupted roughing conditions. The three grades cover the full process from finishing to roughing, and can perform multiple turning operations including external turning, facing and profiling, delivering efficient and stable performance in both dry and wet cutting.

P6 Chip-breaker Features

  • Specialized for steel roughing
  • Special groove design with high edge strength and excellent chip breaking
  • Large depth-of-cut & high feed machining, high metal removal rate
  • Suitable for various interrupted roughing
