Product Introduction
WNMG-S3 is an 80° hexagon negative-type carbide turning insert. The S3 geometry is specially designed for difficult-to-machine material semi-finishing, paired with two professional difficult-to-machine material PSiX-based nano coated grades: BP4205 and BP4215. The 90° approach angle design effectively avoids machining interference, making it suitable for semi-finish to rough machining of various difficult-to-machine materials such as titanium alloys, superalloys and nickel-based alloys. The special groove design provides lower cutting force, and the sharp cutting edge design effectively reduces built-up edge formation, with excellent cutting performance. It can perform multiple turning operations including external turning, facing and profiling, delivering efficient and stable performance in both dry and wet cutting.
